In combination with manifestation and positive action, crystals can be used to increase good luck, prosperity, and abundance. Often when people think of prosperity and abundance they think of money. Many people value becoming rich and obtaining a lavish lifestyle. Money isn't always synonymous with prosperity. Prosperity is also related to good fortune, success and thriving.

Prosperity

“noun, plural pros·per·i·ties.

a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in financial respects; good fortune.” (from Dictionary.com)

Prosperity can be sought in almost any area of life. You may wish to be successful in your studies or perhaps need a boost to thrive after illness or a medical procedure. It can the case that we are in fact more prosperous than we believe as it can be easy to forget or take for granted the good we already have in life.

There are also things in life that can hold you back from your full potential and prosperity. These include:

  • not being consistent in our actions,
  • negative thought patterns,
  • giving up as soon as we find things difficult or setting unrealistic goals in the outset.

Being honest with yourself can help you achieve more by being self-reflective. Of course crystals will not solve all your problems like a magic wand, but they can be used to help give an extra boost to our efforts. They can also help with issues such as low self-esteem or confidence that often go hand in hand with feeling unsuccessful or that you will never get anywhere in life.

Luck

"noun

1. the force that seems to operate for good or ill in a person's life, as in shaping circumstances, events, or opportunities: With my luck I'll probably get pneumonia.

2. good fortune; advantage or success, considered as the result of chance: He had no luck finding work.

3. a combination of circumstances, events, etc., operating by chance to bring good or ill to a person: She's had nothing but bad luck all year." (From Dictionary.com)

Luck is generally thought of as something that can be good or bad and most people would agree that it is a force that we have no control over. Throughout history people have created and carried lucky charms and talismans designed to attract good luck or keep away the bad. Another common view regarding luck is that it is connected to behaviour and actions in other areas of life. People may use statements such as “she really doesn’t deserve such bad luck, she works or hard” or “why does he have all the luck when he is such an unkind man”. These ideas may not be completely unfounded as there are some theories that believe luck can be influenced by other factors in a person’s life such as who relaxed and open a person is whether they listen to their intuition (gut feeling) and how they show gratitude for what they already have. It is of course important to remember that a person could be working incredibly hard to gain their achievements and it is less due to luck than we realise.

Crystals can be used to help attract luck into our lives and to help us be more open to opportunities that come our way. They can be used in meditation, a well-known practice for helping us feel more calm, centred and able.

Like prosperity, abundance is often thought of in regards to money and wealth. Synonyms for abundance include:

  • Bounty
  • Plenty
  • Plethora
  • Copiousness
  • Plenitude

Abundance

"noun

1. an extremely plentiful or oversufficient quantity or supply: an abundance of grain.

2. overflowing fullness: abundance of the heart.

3. affluence; wealth: the enjoyment of abundance."

(from Dictionary.com)

And so just like prosperity this term has been connected to money when in fact it applies to every area of our lives. We may have a bounty of delicious food at a family gathering or plenty of love and care from our friends and family. If we honestly look at our homes and lives we can see abundance is in fact already all around most of us and that we just fail to notice this. Modern society is always pushing us forward and leading us to believe that what we have isn’t good enough or that we need a newer version when in fact, we already have so much and more than a great number of people have. We forget that love, care and kindness are important and that without these money and possessions are unlikely to make us feel happy and fore-filled.

Working with crystals can help to attract more abundance in our desired area and may also be of benefit to look inside ourselves at why we want more and in opening us up to see the abundances we already experience.
